Copenhagen Cowboy Season 1 New Netflix Web Series Episode 4 Recap And Review

Copenhagen Cowboy Season 1 Episode No 4 Recap

Episode 4 of Copenhagen Cowboy begins with us at Nicklas’ estate as Miu begins to roam the grounds. He is determined to find out what Cimona’s spirit is doing there. By the lake, he sees footage of Cimona drowning, followed by several unsettling segments of Niklas watching her. Miu realizes that Niklas is responsible for her death. He gives him 10 seconds to run… and he runs.

This rolling camera pans back and Niklas starts chasing her through the property and straight into the pig trap. Miu jumps on him and knocks Niklas to the ground. Collecting himself, Niklas continues to walk towards Miu, who looks at him cautiously. The pair fight, but Miu makes quick work of it, knocking the boy into a pig pit and constantly defeating him in battle. Finally, he kicks him in the head and knocks him down. As he falls, the pigs surround him.

Miu walks away, downplaying any threat this man may have posed before this episode, and finds herself confronted by Mr. Chang’s men outside the estate. Chiang wants to see her and she is forced to follow.

At the fight club, Chiang is surrounded by women. She touches his temples, working the same magic as before to get rid of his migraines. Miu tries to make a deal with Chiang, asking Hulda to return her daughter to her mother in exchange for her pain relief (which he does very effectively).

Chiang refuses, at least until Miu offers herself as a hostage, promising to do whatever she wants. However, there are no negotiations… until Miu threatens to put her proverbial nails in his head and cause his migraines to return. Chiang is a little hesitant to offer to trade, but only if Miu can pay off the debt within 7 days. If he can do that, they have a deal. After that, Miu promises Hulda that everything will be fine again soon.

Miu arrives to meet a lawyer named Miroslav, who defends several immigrants who killed Andre’s men. He tells her to come back the next day, but instead Miu waits patiently outside his office for him to finish. When he realizes that Miu is a “lucky coin”, he agrees to meet her in the middle of the night.

It seems that these two have a relationship that goes back a long way, and Miu asks him for a favor. Specifically, a place to work and stay. Miu also claims that she is no longer a lucky coin. The lawyer agrees to give him a job, considering that he owes him, but there is no place to stay. He wants a high-paying illegal job, which, of course, can help pay off the debt Chiang has looming over his head.

Miu is shown to the Import/Export business, where Polixen and Bjarke are there to help and take over. Miu will be given a sales role and is quickly given an incendiary phone, which she must keep with her at all times. Danny will probably show her the ropes and pay her later.

In the middle of the night, Miu encounters Chiang’s men, who warn him that time is running out. But first, she meets with Danny, who gives her instructions on how to make things work between them. When Miu gets a client, Danny will give her a key. He will go down and get what he needs in the bag, then put it back, then go to the customer. He receives strict instructions not to take the bag with him.

Miu eventually makes contact with him, taking out the trio of girls who try to stop him with his Stanley knife. He hands over the gears and trades as promised. Danny sees great promise in her and has big plans to rise to the top himself. This does not seem to be the same fate for Miu, who is eager to save Hulda from Chiang’s oppression of her.

Speaking of terrible fates, Niklas is still alive, just barely. He’s been torn apart by pigs and it looks like his body will never be the same. His penis was eaten by pigs and he needs a prosthesis. Of course, Niklas’ father has big plans for this.

  Episode Review

It’s still confusing to see how Niklas will actually feed into the grand scheme of this story. So far, he’s faced Miu once, and she easily dispatched him without breaking a sweat. This completely undermines any threat she carries this chapter, and it seems that Miu took her revenge to try and honor Cimona’s memory. But where now?

The series still hasn’t revealed much about Miu, although we can gather that she has a relationship with a lawyer named Miroslav because of something that happened in the past. To be honest, her story got a bit boring as the late game is basically Miu moving between locations, living the underbelly of Denmark without much rhyme or reason.

While the art is certainly admirable, and there’s plenty of interesting camera work and unusual visual motifs, it definitely lacks a spark when it comes to the main story.
